Women’s Golf Competes in Terrier Intercollegiate

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville Women's Golf team returns to the Palmetto State this week (Oct. 21-22) as the Bulldogs compete in the Terrier Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford College.
The tournament is played at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The course is Par 72 - 6056 yards with 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday, beginning with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.

About the Bulldogs: The Bulldogs last competed in the Edisto Island Invitational in Charleston, South Carolina. The team secured an overall three-round score of 901 (295-303-303) to finish ninth out of the 17 teams competing. Beryl Giletti and Caroline Patterson tied for 18th with a 54-hole total of 222. Ally Kerr led the Bulldogs with 11 birdies.
About the Tournament Field: Wofford and Asheville will be joined on the course by IU Indianapolis, Western Michigan, Queens, Elon (last year's tournament winners), USC Upstate, Samford, Gardner-Webb, South Dakota, Presbyterian, and Lamar.
