"It must be the coach in me, but I am both excited and disappointed," said head coach Ross Cash. "I am really excited for Phoebe and Mady. I know how much work they have put in and the complete mindset change they have helped orchestrate here since I became the head coach. Coaches don't win, it's always the players, and I just know my team is ready. I think they are so close to feeling ready as well. We are working on all the correct things and this team will get our first tournament win. UNC Asheville did get our second individual tournament win in school history and that is special as well. We are looking forward to next week."

The Bulldogs return to action next week (Sept. 18-19) at Ball State's Brittany Kelly Classic.
