Bulldogs Blank Campbell to Advance to the Big South Conference Championship

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville women's tennis blanked Campbell 4-0 in the semifinal on Saturday (Apr. 22) to advance to the Big South Conference Championship for the first time since 1989.
Asheville captured two wins in doubles play for the doubles point, before winning three singles matches each in straight sets to punch the ticket to the championship.
Valeria Centeno and Elizabeth Tindera blanked Tasmin Hart and Veronika Prospalova 6-0 at No. 3 doubles for the first win of the day, before Ami Grace Dougah and Rosie Dickson gutted out a 7-6 (7-3) win over Mialy Ranaivo and Abbie Tyler at No. 1 to clinch the doubles point.
