Bulldogs Win Sixth Straight, Beat UNC Wilmington 6-1

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville women's tennis won its sixth straight match on Saturday (Feb. 11), defeating UNC Wilmington 6-1 in non-conference action.
The Bulldogs swept doubles play to earn the doubles point, before winning five of six singles matches in the victory.
Ami Grace Dougah and Rosie Dickson defeated Lauren Gish and Eda Arli 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, while Linge Steenkamp and Ari Siegel beat Anna Daniels and Zoe Huffman 7-5 at No. 2. Valeria Centeno and Elizabeth Tindera wrapped up doubles play with a 6-4 win over Stela Joksimovic and Meredith Taylor at No. 3. Dougah then defeated Huffman 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, before Steenkamp beat Arli 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2. Tindera beat Daniels 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3, before Dickson beat Gish 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4. Centeno then wrapped things up with a win over Gabbie Glickstein 6-0, 4-6, 10-7 at No. 6.
