Women's Tennis Welcomes UNC Wilmington, Western Carolina in Non-Conference Action This Weekend

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville women's tennis welcomes UNC Wilmington and Western Carolina this weekend in non-conference action. Saturday's match against UNC Wilmington will start at 1:00 p.m., while Sunday's match against Western Carolina will start at 3:00 p.m.
About the Bulldogs - The Bulldogs come into the weekend winners of five straight with a 5-1 record on the season. Asheville has posted a 12-6 doubles record so far on the season, along with a 26-10 singles record. Elizabeth Tindera and Valeria Centeno own a 5-1 doubles record on the season, while Ari Siegel and Linge Steenkamp have four doubles wins on the year and Ami Grace Dougah and Rosie Dickson have three. Dougah leads the way in singles play with six wins, while Steenkamp also has five wins. Avery Sager and Elizabeth Tindera each have four singles wins on the year, while Centeno also has three singles wins on the season.
