Women's Tennis moves to 10 wins after 4-1 victory over UT Martin

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Women's Tennis moved the win column to double-digits after a 4-1 victory over UT Martin on Sunday afternoon.
The duo of Ami Grace Dougah and Rosie Dickson moved their doubles record to 11-1 on the season after a 6-1 victory on the No. 1 court, followed by a 6-2 win by Ari Siegel and Linge Steenkamp on the No. 2 court to clinch the point for the Bulldogs.
Singles was won in similar fashion for the Bulldogs, as the top three seeds all won in straight-sets.
Lize Alet Morkel recorded her eighth win of the season in 6-0, 6-1 fashion on the No. 1 court, trailed closely behind by Dougah in the No. 2 flight in a 6-4, 6-1 win, and lastly by Steenkamp with a 7-6, 6-4 victory on the No. 3.
Both victories from Steenkamp and Dougah were their 10th of the year, which paces the Bulldogs entering the last quarter of the season.
The Bulldogs take a road trip next weekend to Virginia to take on Radford on Saturday the 26th, and Hampton the next day on the 27th.
