UNC Asheville Women's Tennis will embark on their first road trip of the season this week, visiting North Carolina A&T on Thursday and North Carolina Central on Friday.

Asheville will look to ride the momentum after a 6-1 victory to open up Big South play against Longwood last Saturday, which saw four Bulldogs win in straight-sets and a sweep in doubles matches. Among those who went 2-0 on Saturday was Lize Alet Morkel, who claimed the program's third Big South Tennis Player of the Week honor since the start of the season.

The Aggies are 0-3 this season, including a 7-0 loss to Big South foe Charleston Southern to open spring play.

The Eagles on the other hand have played in four matches, but are 0-4 to start the season, including two 4-3 losses against UNCG and UNCW.

All-time, the Bulldogs are 8-0 against the Aggies, with the last matchup coming in the 2015 season.

Against the Eagles, Asheville is 6-2, with the last contest in 2018 being a 7-0 victory.Thursday's match against A&T will start at 2:00 p.m., while Friday's match against Central starts at 12:00 p.m.
