Bulldogs Travel to Longwood for Key Big South Conference Series

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville baseball team travels to Longwood beginning on Friday, April 13, for a crucial three-game series in Farmville, Va.
Projected Starters
Friday: So. LHP Greg Gasparro (1-4, 5.05 ERA) vs. Jr. LHP Steven Farkas (1-6, 6.75 ERA)
Saturday: TBA vs. Jr. RHP Cody Boydstun (1-4, 5.57 ERA)
Sunday: R-So. LHP Jordan Carr (3-3, 5.48 ERA) vs. So. RHP Tyler Morgan (1-2, 7.20 ERA)
About the Bulldogs
UNC Asheville enters the weekend series with a 9-23 overall record and a 5-7 mark in Big South Conference contests.
In Big South Conference games this year, Danny Wilson is pacing the Bulldogs offensively, as he has 21 total hits in league games this season. He sports a .429 batting average in 12 starts. Right behind him is sophomore Tyler Serricchio, who totes a .333 clip in 11 starts. Serricchio has 12 RBIs, which ranks near the top in league play.
