Houser and Chillson Each Net Goals in 2-0 Road Victory

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – To pick up its third road victory of the season, the UNC Asheville women's soccer team downed South Carolina State 2-0 as Emma Houser and Skyler Chillson each netted goals on Wednesday in Orangeburg, S.C. inside Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.

Important Numbers
Houser netted her first goal of the year, and her seventh of her career as a Bulldog. Alison Kurucz assisted the senior on the goal, and the assist was Kurucz's first assist of her career and her third point of the season.
Freshman Chillson doubled the lead for the Bulldogs as she scored her second goal of her rookie campaign.
The clean sheet for goalkeeper Bryson Lee and the UNC Asheville defense was the second of the year.
With the win, head coach Michelle Demko is one win away from her 50th career victory at UNC Asheville.
Asheville advances to 4-4-1 overall, and SCSU drops to 1-8 on the year.
