QUOTABLES
“Obviously pleased with the result. It's good anytime you can put on a good performance in front of your home fans and to do that in front of a supportive home crowd as great. I thought we were much better in the second half. Liberty caused us some problems and for us to respond the way we did to their goal was excellent. We still have a lot to work on and three very important Big South games remaining. The resiliency and toughness and everything we hold dear about being Bulldogs were on display tonight.” - Head Coach Mathes Mennell
UP NEXT
-Following tonight's win, the Bulldogs step out of conference play and travel to Atlanta to take on Georgia State on Tuesday night then stay on the road for a Big South matchup next Saturday at Longwood. Asheville returns home on Wednesday, November 4 to host Presbyterian.
