High School: Kennedy was a three-time letterwinner at Frisco Independence High School in Frisco, Texas, for head coach Michele Massey … A two-time All-State second-team selection, she earned Academic All-State honors three times and was a team captain as both a junior and a senior … In her final two seasons, she was also named her team’s MVP … She led the Knights to the Texas state playoffs in two of her three years on the varsity squad, marking the first time in school history that any athletic team had made it to the playoffs … She played her club ball for Madfrog Volleyball Club and head coach Lee Tonga, helping the team qualify for nationals in both 2014 and 2016 … Off the court, Kennedy was a member of the National Honor Society, serving as Secretary, and boasted a 4.0 GPA.
