Big South Conference Freshman of the Week- Aug. 28
2025 (Junior) - In her third season with Asheville, van der Goot served as a consistent presence at the net, as she finished the season second on the team with 231 kills (2.12) per set and was second on the team with 87 total blocks...She matched her career-high in blocks (7) at UNCG on Sept. 20 and matched her season-high of 12 kills in three seperate matches, most notably in Asheville's regular-season finale against USC Upstate and in the team's Big South Conference quarterfinal match against the Spartans...For her efforts on and off the court, she was named to the Big South Honorable Mention Team, All-Academic Team and earned CSC Academic All-District Honors.
2024 (Sophomore) - Played in all 23 matches in her second season at Asheville...Finished the season with 183 kills and a .244 attack percentage, as well as 70 total blocks...Matched her career-high of 16 kills at Charlotte on Sept. 17 as well as three solo blocks...Had a career-high .538 attack percentage against Hampton on Sept. 14, as she recorded seven kills off 13 attempts, no errors...Earned a spot on the Big South All-Academic Team.
2023 (Freshman) - Van der Goot had a stellar beginning to her college career; in four matches played, van der Goot totaled 35 kills, 27 assists, seven digs, three aces, and played a part in 15 blocks (two solo, 13 assists)...Her top outing for Asheville's opening weekend came in the five-set win over North Carolina Central, where she tallied 12 kills, 14 assists, five digs, and six block assists...van der Goot helped Asheville get off to its best four-match start to a season (3-1) since 2013...van der Goot played and started in all 28 matches...In 97 sets, van der Goot tallied 186 kills, 200 assists, 96 digs, 70 blocks and 11 aces...van der Goot's top performance of the season was in Asheville's victory over Marshall, as she wrote herself into the record book by recording the first triple-double in program history since 2006...Van der Goot recorded 16 kills, 19 assists, and 10 digs.
