2024-25 Season (Fifth Year) - McCaughan appeared in all 31 games this season, making 28 starts and averaging 29.5 minutes per game...Third on the team averaging 9.0 points per game and was also tied for the conference lead in three-pointers per game at 2.2...Earned her first career Big South Conference Player of the Week honor on Dec. 2, 2024 after a career-high 29 points on a career-high eight three-pointers at Tennessee State, marking the seventh-highest single-game scoring performance in the Big South Conference this season...Also averaged 2.9 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game (fifth in the conference) and 2.2 steals per game...Tied the program single-game record for steals in a game with eight against Brevard on Dec. 30...Went a career-best 5-6 from the foul line against USC Upstate on Feb. 12...Named to the Big South Conference All-Academic Team and also named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection.

2022-23 Season (Junior) - In her first season in Asheville, McCaughan appeared in 31 games making five starts...Led the team in both three-pointers attempted (185) and three-pointers made (53)...Averaged 6.1 points per game and 1.7 assists per game, which was second on the team...Pulled down a career-high six rebounds at Austin Peay (Dec. 12, 2022)...Also tied a career-high in three-pointers made with six against USC Upstate on Feb. 4, 2023.
Prior to UNC Asheville - During her two seasons at Upstate, McCaughan played in 34 games, scored 167 points (4.9 PPG), and knocked down 42 3-pointers...She was particularly productive during her freshman season in 2020-21 as she led the team in 3-pointers made (34), finished second in steals (22), and third in assists (45)...A highlight for McCaughan during her time in Spartanburg came on March 6, 2021 when she scored a career-high 20 points fueled by six made threes in that contest... Before joining USC Upstate, McCaughan played both basketball and volleyball at Ridley High School...An All-Conference selection in both sports, McCaughan averaged 15 points, five assists, and four steals per game as a prep...She holds her high school single-season 3-point record with 92 and netted over 1,000 points during her career...A four-time All-Conference pick in basketball, McCaughan was listed in the Top 50 High School Point Guards by ESPN prior to her time at USC Upstate.
