Overview: One of four seniors on this year’s club…role has increased with each season…began junior season as a starter but then became Asheville’s sixth man and enjoyed excellent season…quick defender who can also score in a variety of different ways…enjoyed a standout high school career at Heathwood Hall School in Columbia, S.C.

 

 

2013-2014: Asheville’s first man off the bench for most of the season after starting the first six games of the year…led Bulldogs in steals with 43...averaged 7.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game…scored in double-figures nine times…first career double-double came in home win over Presbyterian College (1-11) with 11 points and 11 rebounds…tallied season-high 15 points at Radford (2-13)…scored 13 points in back-to-back home wins over Charleston Southern (2-19) and Coastal Carolina (2-22)…just missed double-double in victory over Virginia Intermont (12-20) with 13 points and nine rebounds…shot .747 (56-of-75) from the free throw line…dished out seven assists vs. Charleston Southern (2-19)…season-high four steals with 10 points vs. VMI (1-28)…scored nine points and collected seven rebounds in first win at College of Charleston (11-15)…grabbed eight rebounds vs. Campbell (2-5) and Liberty (2-8).

 

 

2012-2013: Really came on in the last month of the season…didn’t play in 14 games before stepping up and playing well in final 10 minutes of key road win at VMI (2-8)…earned three starts after Keith Hornsby was hurt late in the season…finished the season with double-figure scoring in three of the last five games…tallied career-high 19 points with career-best seven rebounds vs. Jacksonville State (2-23)…pumped in 12 points with five rebounds in first career start at Coastal Carolina (2-19)…came off the bench with 10 points at Winthrop (3-2)…went 16-of-29 (.552) from the field in the last five games…had career-best four assists vs. PC (2-27).

 

 2011-2012: Played in 15 games...career-high 15 points came vs. Mars Hill (11-16)...went 6-of-10 from the field and knocked down three-pointer...tallied six points with three assists vs. Brevard (11-21)...season-high of 17 minutes came vs. Montreat (12-15) where he scored four points...pumped in five points during home victory over Liberty (1-7)...played 10 minutes in late-season win over Radford (2-11) as he scored two points and collected three rebounds...played in two games in BSC tournament as he scored two points vs. High Point (2-29).

 

 

Before UNC Asheville: Enjoyed a sensational prep career for head coach Jeff Whalen...senior year averaged 25 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game...led team to state championship...was named South Carolina Independent Schools Association Player of the Year as a junior and senior...led school to two consecutive region championships and berths in the state title game...junior season averaged 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists per game...helped lead school to 72-24 overall record during his career.
