Georgia: Lettered for three seasons and was a reserve post player…played in 61 games and earned two starts…top year was his sophomore campaign (2012-13) where he played in 27 games and started twice, averaging 8.5 minutes per game…averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per outing as a sophomore…top game of his Georgia career came vs. South Carolina (12/22/12) where he scored 10 points and seven rebounds…tallied eight points vs. Chattanooga (12/2/13).
Mountain Heritage HS: Earned All-State honors as a senior by the Associated Press, the N.C. Basketball Coaches Association and by NCPreps.com, an online recruiting service...named the Player of the Year in the Western Highlands Conference...for his career, Cannon blocked a state of North Carolina-record 606 shots in his four years at Mountain Heritage.
