2021 Season (Senior) - During the 2021 season, Jernigan appeared in a team-high 20 games...Overall, Jernigan went 1-5 with a 5.50 ERA with one save in 36 innings pitched...Jernigan also opened a pair of games for Asheville in 2021...Got the win after tossing three scoreless innings vs. Charleston Southern on April 23...Notched a save on April 27 vs. Presbyterian...Pitched a season-high 5.1 innings vs. Presbyterian on April 3 where he allowed just one run on three hits to go with four strikeouts...In 12 of his 20 appearances, Jernigan pitched more than one inning.

A four-year letterman, Jernigan pitched 68.1 innings, including making nine starts, as a senior ... He posted a 2.15 ERA with 92 strikeouts compared to just nine walks and boasted a .966 WHIP in 947 total pitches ...
