2021 Season (5th Year Senior) - Harris came back for a fifth season with the Bulldogs in 2021...The Florida native started a career-high 10 games and made 18 overall appearances on the mound...As a hitter, Harris had seven at-bats where he hit .286 with one home run at Gardner-Webb on April 20...As a pitcher, Harris posted a record of 2-2 with a 4.33 ERA in 60.1 innings pitched with 49 strikeouts...Was the winning pitcher on March 21 vs. Campbell and then again vs. Radford on March 27...Had six starts where he pitched five or more innings, including in each of his last three starts...Struck out a season-high seven hitters in a six-inning start vs. Longwood on May 8...Harris leaves Asheville ranking top 10 all-time in career ERA (4.63) and is the program's all-time saves leader with 17.Â
2020 Season (Senior) -Â Harris appeared in 13 games for UNC Asheville in 2020...As a hitter, Harris posted a .143 batting average and drove in four runs...Drove in three of those runs on March 7 against Coppin State...As a pitcher, Harris appeared in seven games and posted a 0-2 record with one save to go with a 3.52 ERA...In 7.2 innings pitched, Harris struck out 12 batters.
2019 Season (Junior) - Became the Bulldogs' all-time saves leader on May 16, 2019, when Harris picked up his 16th career save at Gardner-Webb … His eight saves in the 2019 season were a career high and is now also tied for the top spot in UNC Asheville history for most in a single season … Threw 25.2 innings in 24 appearances out of the bullpen … Struck out 38 batters … Allowed only 10 earned runs all season which secured a 3.51 season ERA … Held opposing hitters to a .242 batting average … Also made 19 starts in the field and had 71 at bats … Totaled 11 hits and 10 RBIs … Led the Bulldogs in stolen bases while going a perfect 6-6 in the 2019 season … On March 16 versus USC Upstate, Harris threw 2.1 innings of relief while surrendering only one hit and punching out five to secure his fourth save of the season.
