Awards & Honors 2021 Season (Senior) - During his final season as a Bulldog, Jones appeared in 21 games and made 10 starts...Jones hit .224 with 11 hits, one home run and eight RBI during his senior campaign...Jones also scored eight runs, picked up four doubles, and drew eight walks...His best performance came in the season opening win over Western Carolina where he went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one driven in...Also had a two-hit game vs. Wofford on March 2...Drove in two runs on Feb. 27 at ETSU and then again on April 23 at Charleston Southern...Launched his lone home run of the season on April 20 at Gardner-Webb. 

2020 Season (Junior) - In his first season with the Bulldogs, Jones appeared in all 16 games for the team in the shortened 2020 campaign...The Ramseur, N.C. native hit .262 with 11 runs scored, two runs knocked in and nine walks...His best performance in 2020 came on February 22 at UAB where he went 4-for-5 with two runs scored...In the field, Jones posted a .975 fielding percentage and helped turn 10 double plays...Was named Big South Player of the Week on February 24. 

Before UNC Asheville - Jones joins the Bulldogs out of Brunswick Community College. He played his high school baseball at Eastern Randolph High School in Ramseur, N.C. Also a letterwinner in basketball at Eastern Randolph, Jones finished his high school career with a batting average of .405. He had 100 career hits in high school to go along with 64 RBIs, 29 doubles and nine home runs. He was the team MVP during his junior and senior seasons.
