2022 Season (Junior) - In his third season with the Bulldogs, Little appeared in 20 games...All 20 of his appearances were out of the bullpen and they were tied for the team-lead...Little posted a record of 2-0 with a 4.65 ERA in 31 innings pitched to go along with a pair of saves during his junior campaign...He held opposing hitters to a .211 batting average...Tallied wins against High Point and Charleston Southern...Picked up the save against North Carolina A&T on April 10 and High Point in the Big South Baseball Tournament...Pitched multiple innings in 10 of his 20 appearances...Pitched a season-high 3.1 innings against North Carolina A&T on April 10 and picked up three strikeouts...Was named the Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week on March 14.Â
2021 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Little developed into one of the more dependable relievers for the Bulldogs...In 17 appearances, Little posted a 4.26 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 19 innings pitched, while holding opposing hitters to a .265 batting average...Threw more than one inning on six different occasions...Picked up his first collegiate save on May 7 vs. Longwood after tossing the final three innings, allowing one run on two hits to go with three strikeouts...10 of his 17 appearances were scoreless outings...Posted multiple strikeouts in five appearances as well.Â
2020 Season (Freshman) - During his freshman season in 2020, Little appeared in four games, including three starts for the Bulldogs...Little logged a total of 12.1 innings on the mound...Struck out 10 hitters in the 12.1 innings pitched...Made his collegiate debut on February 14 at Samford...Struck out a season-high four hitters on March 4 at Furman...His best outing came on February 19 at Wofford where he tossed four innings and allowed just one run with three strikeouts.Â
Prior to UNC Asheville -Â Little joins the UNC Asheville baseball program out of the Central Academy of Technology and Arts in Monroe, N.C. The Charlotte native is a 6-foot-7 right-handed pitcher who graduated cum laude and as a North Carolina scholar. In 58.1 innings pitched this past season, Little fanned 96. He had two saves and a 1.08 ERA. He set the school record for most wins in a season with 11 in 2019. Little was the 2018 Rocky River Conference Pitcher of the Year and the 2019 Rocky River Conference Player of the Year after also owning a .476 batting average.
