2021 Season (Sophomore) - During the 2021 season, Marra appeared in 12 games for the Bulldogs all out of the bullpen...He posted a record of 0-2 with a 5.60 ERA in 17.2 innings pitched with five strikeouts...Pitched more than one inning on eight different occasions...Tossed a season-high three innings in relief on May 14 at Gardner-Webb...In four of his 12 outings, Marra held the opposing team scoreless.Â
2020 Season (Freshman) - In his first season with the Bulldogs, Marra appeared in six games logging a 1-0 record with a 6.97 ERA...Made his collegiate debut on February 14 against Samford...His best outing of his freshman season came on February 22 at UAB where he tossed 4.1 innings allowing one run on three hits to go with four strikeouts...With this effort, Marra earned his first collegiate win...Struck out 11 hitters in 10.1 innings of work as a freshman.
Prior to UNC Asheville -Â Marra joins the Bulldogs out of Pittsburgh, Pa. The Plum Senior High School product finished his prep career with an impressive 1.61 ERA in 74 innings pitched. He had 94 strikeouts in his high school career. As a senior he threw a complete game no-hitter in a victory over section rival Norwin Senior High School. Marra was highly decorated during his high school career as a multiple time all-section selection. He was also named one of the top prospects in all of Pennsylvania. Marra also played ice hockey in high school.
