2022 Season (Senior) - In his final season with the Bulldogs, Perez appeared in 17 games for Asheville all out of the bullpen...He posted a record of 2-1 and an ERA of 5.33 in 25.1 innings pitched...Tallied wins against Niagara on February 27 and against Charleston Southern on March 27...Pitched as season-high three innings twice in 2022...First to help Asheville knock off Niagara on February 27 and then again in the Big South Baseball Tournament vs. Gardner-Webb...In that outing vs. Gardner-Webb, Perez struck out five hitters in that appearance.
2021 Season (Junior) - As a junior, Perez appeared in 17 games out of the Asheville bullpen...Over those 17 games, Perez logged 12.1 innings on the mound with a 0-1 record and seven strikeouts...Pitched season-high 1.2 innings on three occasions at Western Carolina (Feb. 23), vs. Radford (March 26), and at Winthrop (April 10)...Posted nine scoreless relief appearances on the season...Struck out a season-high two batters at Western Carolina on February 23 and at Gardner-Webb on April 20.Â

2019 Season (Freshman) - Appeared in 19 games out of the bullpen … Threw 23.2 innings … Struck out 13 batters … Walked only seven batters all season … Pitched more than one inning on six separate occasions … Perez threw four innings of relief at Western Carolina on April 24 surrendering one run on four hits to help the Bulldogs secure the 11-8 victory … In his final outing of the season on May 17 at Gardner-Webb, Perez threw four innings out of the bullpen while giving up one run on three hits … Also collected one hit in six at-bats.
Prior to UNC Asheville - Played for the Race City Bootleggers during the summer ... On the mound in high school, Perez posted a 15-3 record ... Twirled 115 innings en route to four complete games and three shutouts ... Also on the bump, Perez notched a 1.22 ERA and 144 strikeouts while only walking 50 batters ... Offensively, the incoming Bulldog tallied 45 RBIs, eight home runs, 13 doubles, three triples and 38 walks ... Two-time All-Conference and All-County Team member ... Earned multiple honors in high school, including 2017 Player of the Year by Mooresville Weekly, 2017 All-Lake Baseball Team, 2017 Greater Charlotte Hot Stove Pitcher of the Year and member of Region 7 Team in the North Carolina Powerade State games.
