He is rated as the No. 50 right-handed pitcher in the state of North Carolina by Perfect Game and is ranked the No. 120 overall player in the state of North Carolina by MaxPreps ... A six-time letterwinner for the Pack, Barfield ended his senior year with a 7-1 record and boasted a 1.14 ERA ...
