Three Bulldogs Named on Big South Conference Preseason Players to Watch List

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Three UNC Asheville Women's Soccer players have been named on the Big South Conference's Preseason Players to Watch List, announced by the league today (Wednesday, Aug. 5).
 
Junior Manuela Schreier was listed among the midfielders, while junior Campbell Stoll and sophomore Kathleen Doane were listed among the defenders.
 
Schreier played and started in 16 matches as a sophomore, totaling 1,232 minutes including playing all 90 minutes five times. She scored her first career goal against Mars Hill on Aug. 27, and totaled seven shots on the season, including two in that same match. Off the pitch, she was a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection in 2025.
 
Stoll played and started all 17 matches on the back line in her first season in Asheville, totaling 1,278 minutes and playing all 90 minutes on four occasions. She scored one goal and dished out four assists on the season, with her goal against Mars Hill on Aug. 27 coming in at No. 4 on Sportscenter's Top 10 Plays. Stoll also registered a pair of assists at VMI on Aug. 31, while also tallying assists against Mars Hill and South Carolina State (Sept. 4).
 
Doane appeared in 16 matches making 15 starts on the back line as a freshman. She totaled 1,305 minutes on the season including playing all 90 minutes nine times. She also registered shots from the back line at VMI (Aug. 31), against Radford (Oct. 11) and at High Point (Oct. 18).
 
The Bulldogs open the 2026 campaign at home next Wednesday (Aug. 12) against Wofford. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. from Greenwood Field, with video and live stats available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
