197 Bulldogs Named to the 2025-26 Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll

FULL BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE RELEASE
 
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - 197 UNC Asheville student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll, announced by the league today (Wednesday, July 22).
 
To earn a spot on the Presidential Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the academic year. Asheville had 77.56 percent of its athlete population eligible this year, while 77 percent of all Big South Conference student-athletes were eligible this year for the second-highest percentage in league history. This was also the third consecutive year that at least 74 percent of all Big South Conference student-athletes were eligible for the honor roll.
 
28 Bulldogs earned the Commissioner's Award with a 4.0 GPA for the year, while another 61 earned the Gold Award for a GPA between 3.75-3.99. 49 Bulldogs earned the Silver Award with marks between 3.5 and 3.74, while 59 earned the Bronze Award with a GPA between 3.0-3.49.
 
"Congratulations to our student-athletes that made the Presidential Honor Roll this past year," said Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone. "They demonstrate daily the student-athlete experience at UNC Asheville is the academic centric model, and why each and every day we continue to Dream Bigger and Achieve More at UNC Asheville."
