Baseball Faces Road Test at Tennessee on Tuesday, Split Series with Wofford Over the Weekend

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Baseball faces a tough road test at Tennessee on Tuesday (Apr. 14), before playing a split series with Wofford over the weekend (Apr. 17-19).

About the Bulldogs - Asheville comes into the week at 16-20 overall and 4-8 in the Big South after dropping two out of three at Longwood over the weekend (Apr. 10-12) in conference play. The Bulldogs are fifth in the Big South and 56^th in the nation with 27 double plays turned, while also ranking third in the conference and 54^th in the nation with 20 sacrifice bunts. Owen Michelson leads the conference and is 13^th in the nation with a .527 on-base percentage, while Logan Lowe is fourth in the league and 38^th in the nation with six sacrifice bunts. Blaize Johnson is also second in the league and 52^nd in the nation with a .689 slugging percentage, while also ranking first in the league and 50^th in the nation with 91 total bases.
