ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis heads to Orlando for Spring Break play this week.

UNC Asheville (6-4, 1-0 Big South) vs. St. Thomas (Fla.)

About the Bulldogs - The Bulldogs come into the week at 6-4 overall after a 4-2 loss at Western Carolina on Friday (Mar. 6). The Bulldogs have a combined 30-22 singles record along with a combined 12-12 mark in doubles play. The teams of Angelina Hug/Sofia Segui, Valeria Centeno/Isabella Moss and Avery Sager/Maria Sol Alvarez Brandon each have four doubles wins on the year. Segui leads with seven wins in singles play, while Hug has six wins on the year and Brandon, Centeno and Sager each have five wins. Moss also has two wins in singles play.

About the Bobcats - The Bobcats come into the matchup at 1-6 overall after a 4-0 loss at Keiser on Feb. 25. The Bobcats come in with eight singles wins on the season, along with eight doubles wins. Eight different Bobcats have recorded a win in singles play, while eight different doubles tandems have each recorded one win.

Navy comes in with a combined 150-74 singles record, along with a combined 59-38 doubles record on the season. Nicole Fu is 21-5 on the season in singles play, while Olivia Fermo is 19-7. Emma Gu is 18-8 on the season and Molly Bellia also has 13 wins on the season. Jina Cha and Grace Li each have 12 wins, while Peyton Philemon has 11 wins on the season. Six other Midshipmen have at least one win on the season.

Series History - This will be the first-ever meeting between Asheville and Navy in women's tennis.

UNC Asheville vs. Howard (1-5)

About the Bison - Howard comes into the matchup at 1-5 overall after a 4-2 win at George Mason back on Feb. 28. Howard has six combined singles wins, and one doubles win on the season. Franchesca Brown leads the way with two wins in singles play, while four others have one win apiece in singles play. Brown and Dana Hall have the lone doubles win for Howard on the season.

Series History - This will be the first-ever meeting between Asheville and Howard in women's tennis.
