Baseball Drops Middle Game to Presbyterian on Saturday

CLINTON, S.C. - UNC Asheville Baseball dropped the middle game of its Big South Conference series at Presbyterian by a score of 11-0 on Saturday.
 
Owen Michelson, Blaize Johnson, Eric Krumpe and Zeb Swangim each had one hit in the game for the Bulldogs with Michelson registering a double and Johnson hitting a triple. Cooper Smith (1-1) took the loss for the Bulldogs on the mound, while Nick Bruno covered another 1.2 innings of relief before passing the ball to Colin Woolard. The freshman fired 2.1 innings of hitless relief with two strikeouts.  
 
The Bulldogs (11-9, 1-1 Big South Conference) return to action tomorrow (Sunday, Mar. 15) to wrap up the series. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m. from Clinton, S.C. with video, live stats and tickets available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
