Two Bulldogs Sit Inside the Top-10 Following First Day of Babs Steffens Invitational

DEBARY, Fla. – After two rounds of play at the Babs Steffens Invitational, the Asheville women's golf team sits in fifth place in the 16-team field.

The Bulldogs posted rounds of 308 and 307 on Monday and enter the final round at +47 overall.

Breanna Hoese leads Asheville, sitting eighth individually after rounds of 73 and 76. She carded three birdies across the opening two rounds.

Caroline Patterson is tied for ninth following a strong 77-73 performance and recorded a birdie in each round.

Lauren Madson is tied for 26th (79-77), while Pennie Osterberg sits tied for 48th (79-83). Jordyn Arts rounds out the Asheville lineup in a tie for 55th after rounds of 82 and 81.

Tournament host Stetson leads the field at +15, followed by App State at +19. Keiser (NAIA) sits third at +32, while West Georgia is fourth at +43. Seminole State (NJCAA) is sixth at +52, just ahead of Georgia State at +55.
