Travis Takes Third in Two Events at Davidson on Saturday

DAVIDSON, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Swimming and Diving saw Leigha Travis post third-place finishes in both the 1M and 3M events at Davidson on Saturday (Sept. 27).

Travis posted a score of 228.80 in the 1M and a score of 229.05 in the 3M, only finishing four points out of second place in both events.

"It was a super-exciting first meet of the season, we kept the energy high and really showed out!" said Travis. "This meet definitely has me excited for the rest of the season!"

The Bulldogs return to the water on Oct. 18 to face East Carolina and Campbell. The action is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. from Buies Creek, N.C.
