Lola Dragosavac Announced as UNC Asheville's New Diving Coach

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Lola Dragosavac has been announced as UNC Asheville's new diving coach today (Monday, Aug. 10) by head Women's Swimming and Diving Coach Elizabeth Lykins.

Dragosavac competed as a Division I diver at Richmond, Florida Atlantic and Duquesne being named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Second Team Scholar All-American in 2024 and qualifying for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships that same season at Richmond. She was also a repeat Second Team Scholar All-American at Duquesne in 2025-26. She was a member of the Dean's List for three consecutive years (2022-24), and is also a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and Omicron Delta Kappa.

"Her background and success as a collegiate diver exponentially adds strength to our squad and enhances the student-athletes' experiences. I am impressed with Lola's work ethic to continue collegiate diving whilst working towards a rigorous Master's Degree throughout the previous two academic years. Her success on the boards as an NCAA Zone Qualifier and All-American recognition speaks volumes to her athletic prowess. We look forward to Lola's expertise adding to the strength of our coaching staff."

Dragosavac has previous experience working at Duquense's Medical & Health Humanities Consortium this past year, and the Legacy Gymnastics Center in Maitland, Florida (2017-22).

Dragosavac holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law from Richmond (2024) and recently graduated from Duquesne with her Master of Arts in Public and Applied Sociology.
