Women’s Golf Releases 2025-26 Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville women's golf unveiled its 2025-26 schedule on Tuesday (July 29). The Bulldogs will compete in six fall tournaments and six spring tournaments.
FALL SCHEDULE
Aug. 25 Tiger ClassicSept. 15-16 Velvet Classic
Sept. 21-24 Golfweek Red Sky Classic
Oct. 13-14 Terrier Intercollegiate
Oct. 20-21 UNCG Intercollegiate
Oct. 27-28 French Broad Collegiate Invitational (Home Tournament in Asheville, NC)
The Bulldogs open their season with a one-day tournament hosted by Clemson in August. For the second year in a row, Asheville will compete in the Velvet Classic, which Murray State hosts. Similar to last year, the Bulldogs will travel to Wolcott, Colo., for the Golfweek Red Sky Classic following the Velvet Classic.
The second half of Asheville's fall schedule consists of tournaments hosted by Wofford (Terrier Intercollegiate), UNCG, and the Bulldogs' home tournament hosted at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove. Last season, Asheville had to cancel its home tournament due to Helene.

Asheville kicks off its spring season by competing in Stetson's tournament at the end of February. The Bulldogs will stay coastal by competing in UNC Wilmington's tournament at the beginning of March and Wofford's second tournament of the year, as the Terriers host the Low Country Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, SC. Asheville returns to Kennesaw, Ga., this year for the Pinetree Women's Intercollegiate, before competing once again in the Golfweek Spring Challenge. The Bulldogs will prepare for the Big South Conference Championship following the Golfweek Spring Challenge.
"This has been an exceptional off-season for women's golf with the influx of a huge amount of talent here," said Head Coach Ross Cash. "With the core of returners and the new five players to our roster, we should be really strong and accomplish many firsts for the golf program this year. I can't wait for summer to be over and for the ladies to get to campus so we can get to work."
