BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - UNC Asheville Baseball battled, but dropped its series finale at Western Kentucky on Sunday (Mar. 9) by a score of 3-0.

Western Kentucky scored one run in the third and added two runs in the bottom of the seventh to bring the game to its final score.

Charlie Stogner recorded Asheville's lone hit on offense in the game.

Clay Edmondson (2-1) took the loss despite a quality start allowing just one run scattering five hits with two walks and six strikeouts, while Daylinh Nguyen-Brown fired the last two innings allowing two runs on three hits with one walk and three strikeouts.
