Bulldogs Complete First Round of Rivertowne Invitational

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The UNC Asheville women's golf team opened the 2025 portion of their season on Monday at the Rivertowne Invitational, hosted by Charleston Southern. Asheville completed the first round, but play was suspended due to darkness towards the end of the second round.
The teams will complete the second round of competition tomorrow morning before beginning the third and final round of the Invitational.
Morgan Guepet led Asheville through the first 18 holes, as she shot a 74 (+2) and finished the second round with one more hole to play at one-over par.
Caroline Patterson shot a 75 in the first round and was even through 17 holes in the second round. Patterson and Guepet were both tied for fifth at the suspension of play.
Beryl Giletti shot a 78 (+6) in the first round and was one-over par with two holes to go in the second round.
Ally Kerr shot an 80 (+8) in the opening round and was 4-over through 17 holes in the second round. Jordyn Arts rounded out the Bulldogs, as she shot a 91 in the first round and was 13-over with one hole left to play in the second round.
After 18 holes, the Bulldogs were in seventh out of 14 teams.
