Women's Swimming and Diving Set to Host Georgia Southern This Weekend

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Swimming and Diving is set to host Georgia Southern in Atlantic Sun Conference action this weekend. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home winning streak of 15 straight duals dating back to Oct. 2020.

About the Bulldogs - Asheville comes into the matchup at 2-1 in duals on the year, with the swimmers having last competed Nov. 20-23 at the Fall Frenzy Invitational and the divers that same weekend at Liberty's TYR '85 Invite. On the season, Anna Marcotti has earned one Atlantic Sun Conference Swimmer of the Week award while Leigha Travis has been named Diver of the Week twice.

About the Eagles - Georgia Southern is 0-1 in duals on the season, having last competed at the Liberty Invite Nov. 21-23.

Series History - This will be the 15^th all-time dual between Asheville and Georgia Southern, with Asheville leading the all-time series 8-6. Asheville has won the last six duals against Georgia Southern, with last year's 150-149 win coming in dramatic comeback fashion back on Dec. 13, 2024.
