Women's Swimming and Diving Hosts VMI, Berry (Ga.) for Senior Day This Weekend

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Swimming and Diving hosts VMI and Berry (Ga.) this weekend for the program's Senior Day. Asheville will be honoring the largest senior class in program history, with 10 seniors between swimming and diving.

Diving vs. VMI | Senior Day | Friday, Jan. 10, 2025 | 2:00 p.m. | Asheville Jewish Community Center | Seniors Jade Canady, Kindal Culpepper and Morgan Coughlen will be honored prior to the start of the meet. Â

About the Bulldog Divers - Asheville returns its entire diving squad from a season ago. Jade Canady and Morgan Coughlen who each received Atlantic Sun Conference Diver of the Week honors last season, along with the addition of freshman Vivian Fougeron who has earned two Diver of the Week honors.

Seniors Kindal Culpepper and Morgan Coughlen will be honored prior to the start of the meet. Â

About VMI - VMI comes into the matchup at 2-4 in duals on the season on a two-meet win streak after a 148-101 victory at the Keydet Invite on Nov. 15-16.

Swimming vs. Berry (Ga.) | Senior Day | Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 | 12:00 p.m. | Justice Center Pool | Seniors Grace Adams, Olivia Ciancimino, Caroline Crouse, Riley Edmundson, Caitlin Hefner, Julie Lahiff and Chloe McDonald will be honored prior to the meet.

About the Bulldog Swimmers - The Bulldogs (2-2) come into the event after placing fourth at Florida Gulf Coast's Eagles Holiday Splash back in December. Asheville returns 19 swimmers and also adds four freshmen.

About Berry - Berry (Ga.) comes into the meet at 0-1 in duals on the season, dropping their lone dual to Sewanee 146-75 on Nov. 8.
