About the Bulldogs - Asheville was picked second in the Big South Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll coming into this season. Asheville returns seven players from last year's conference championship team in 2024 Second Team All-Conference Doubles selection Louise Booker, Valeria Centeno, 2024 All-Conference First Team Doubles and Second Team Singles selection Angelina Joy Hug, 2024 Freshman of the Year and All-Conference Second Team Singles selection Alexis Nyborg, Avery Sager, 2024 All-Conference First Team Doubles selection Ari Siegel and Elizabeth Tindera.

About the Mocs - This will be the season opener for Chattanooga, who posted an 8-14 record a season ago including a 1-6 mark in Southern Conference play.
