MACON, Ga. - UNC Asheville Women's Soccer dropped its non-conference contest at Mercer on Sunday (Aug. 25) by a score of 4-0.

Mercer found the back of the net in the ninth minute, taking a 1-0 lead to the half. Asheville fired five shots in the first half, with two on goal. Mercer tallied three second half goals to bring the match to its final score.

Asheville totaled nine shots in the match with four on goal. Jasmine Barry, Akari Kishida, Azalea Mihailovich, Mercedes McNabb, Addie Cooper, Kendall Powell, Ava Bjorkman-Tracy, Jordan Schaetzly and Nao Kawasaki each registered a shot for the Bulldogs in the match. Gracie Murray made five saves in the match.

The Bulldogs return to the pitch on Thursday (Aug. 29) to host Jacksonville State in the home opener. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. from Greenwood Field, with video and live stats available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
