Bulldogs Top Chattanooga for Non-Conference Win on Saturday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis topped Chattanooga 4-3 for a non-conference win on Saturday (Feb. 10).
Asheville captured the doubles point with two wins in doubles play, before capturing three wins in singles play to secure the victory.
Linge Steenkamp and Ari Siegel defeated Alice Hall and Rozalie Dohnalova 6-2 at No. 1, while Angelina Joy Hug and Louise Booker teamed up for a 6-3 win at No. 2 over Caroline Gibbens and Emma Peeler. After falling behind 2-1 in singles play, Booker tied the match up with a 6-2, 7-6 win over Madlena Orlova at No. 2. Alexis Nyborg would put the Bulldogs ahead with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Gibbens, before Hug clinched the match at No. 4 singles with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 win over Peeler.
