Men’s Basketball Schedule Update

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's basketball team's initially scheduled home opener against Warren Wilson on Thursday, November 7, in Kimmel Arena, has been canceled. 

The men's basketball program's first home game in Kimmel Arena will now be Saturday, December 7, when Asheville plays St. Andrews at 2 p.m. 

With the Warren Wilson contest canceled and the Appalachian State game postponed, two additional December home games are being finalized for Asheville. An update will be announced soon. 

Asheville's home opener against St. Andrews holds an exceeding amount of historical importance as the 2024-25 season marks the 60th year that Asheville men's basketball has competed as a 4-year program, and St. Andrews was one of the teams the Bulldogs played back in the 1964-65 season. Be on the lookout for additional information to be announced regarding the Bulldogs' home opener on December 7. 

Asheville's season opener is Monday, November 4, as the Bulldogs travel to play No. 2 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
