Baseball Readies for Matchup at #10 Tennessee on Tuesday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville baseball team will hit the road to take on No. 10 Tennessee on Tuesday. First pitch between the Bulldogs and Volunteers is set for 4:30 p.m. on SEC Network Plus.

Dylan Continues to Drive in Runs – Asheville's offense has been very productive throughout this season and in the middle of it has been Dylan Bacot. Bacot is tied for third in the country with 12 doubles, sixth in RBI with 37, and leads the team with 13 multi-hit games to go with 12 multi-RBI performances.
Dynamic Duo – On top of the production from Bacot, a pair of Bulldogs finished last week hitting .500 or better. Kohl Abrams collected 10 hits in 18 at-bats (.556 batting average) to go with six runs scored, while Corbin Lanowitz went .500 with nine hits in 18 at-bats with four RBI.
Lots of Success vs. Lefties – The Bulldogs have been one of the top teams in handling left-handed pitchers in 2023. Collectively, Asheville is hitting .347 off of lefties this season with six players hitting .300 or better. Robbie Burnett (.556 batting average), Bacot (.500 batting average), Abrams (.462 batting average) and Lanowitz (.438 batting average) are all hitting over .400 against southpaws this season.
