Fletcher Abee Named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday that UNC Asheville men's basketball player Fletcher Abee was named to the organization's Academic All-District Team.
To be considered, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her institution.
"Fletcher embodies everything it means to be a student-athlete here at UNC Asheville," said UNC Asheville Head Coach Mike Morrell. "We are all extremely proud of him inside of our program. No one has been more important to our success this year than Fletcher. His ability to excel on and off the court is something that we all admire."
By being selected Academic All-District, Abee will be on the ballot for the Academic All-America Team.
Abee and the rest of the Bulldogs will be in action on Wednesday when they host Charleston Southern at 6:30 p.m. in the team's final home game of the regular season.
