Baseball Hits the Road to Wofford on Tuesday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville baseball team will hit the road for the first time this season when it travels to Wofford on Tuesday. The first pitch between the Bulldogs and Terriers is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

Last Time Out – Asheville completed a three-game sweep over Sacred Heart on Sunday by downing the Pioneers by a score of 7-2. With Sunday's victory, the Bulldogs improved to 3-0 on the 2023 campaign.
Best Start Since – The Bulldogs are 3-0 for the first time since 2012 when that team swept North Carolina Central in a three-game series. If Asheville can knock off Wofford on Tuesday, it'll be its first 4-0 start since 2011.

A player to watch for the Terriers is Ryan Galanie. Galanie hit .818 with one home run and five RBI in the three games vs. Southern Illinois.
