Men's Tennis Drops Non-Conference Contest at Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - UNC Asheville men's tennis dropped its non-conference contest at Chattanooga on Friday (Feb. 10) by a score of 5-2.
The Bulldogs won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, picking up one win during singles play in the match. Chattanooga rallied during singles play to capture five wins to take the match.
Rafa Serra and Jon Brann Reid defeated Simon Labbe and Peyton Gatti 6-3 at No 1 doubles, while Sam Nicholson and Harry Thursfield beat Kerim Hyatt and Kristoff Kincses 6-4 at No. 2 to capture the doubles point for the Bulldogs. Freddy Murray captured the lone singles victory in the match for the Bulldogs, beating Ryan Mudre 2-6, 6-3, 10-5 at No. 5.
