Men's Tennis Picks Up Win at Lipscomb on Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - UNC Asheville men's tennis picked up a 4-3 win at Lipscomb in non-conference action on Saturday (Feb. 11).
The Bulldogs captured the doubles point with two wins in doubles play, before cementing the win with three wins in singles play.
Rafa Serra and Jon Brann Reid picked up a 6-1 win over Maksim Bogdanovich and Jake Pennyat No. 1 doubles, before Sam Nicholson and Harry Thursfield earned a 6-4 win over Carlos Salas Tulla and Luka Stojanovicat No. 2 doubles. Nicholson went on to earn a 6-1, 6-3 win over Bogdanovich at No. 1 singles, before Thursfield earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Penny at No. 3. Freddy Murray would pick up a 6-4, 6-3 win over Stojanovic at No. 5 as the Bulldogs came away with the win.
