ESPNU Selects UNC Asheville at Radford as February 16 Wildcard Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – ESPNU has selected the UNC Asheville at Radford men's basketball contest as its fifth Big South Wildcard broadcast of the 2022-23 season, it was announced today by the Big South Conference office. The game will move from its current Wednesday, February 15 date to Thursday, February 16 and will tip-off at 7 p.m. from the Dedmon Center in Radford, Virginia.
The February 16th game at Radford will mark Asheville's 17th appearance in the Wildcard series since the 2013-14 season. Asheville defeated Longwood by a score of 54-46 earlier this month and will play host to High Point this Thursday in another game televised on ESPNU.
It'll mark the second time this season that Asheville and Radford have matched up. The Bulldogs got the better of the Highlanders by a score of 62-58 at Kimmel Arena back on December 29.
Asheville will also appear on ESPNU this Thursday when it welcomes High Point to Kimmel Arena. Tip-off between the Bulldogs and Panthers is set for 7 p.m. Tickets for Thursday's game are still available HERE.
