ESPNU Selects High Point at UNC Asheville as February 2 Wildcard Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – ESPNU has selected the High Point at UNC Asheville men's basketball contest as its third Big South Wildcard broadcast of the 2022-23 season, as it was announced today by the conference office.  The game will move from its current Wednesday, February 1 date to Thursday, February 2 and will tip at 7:00pm from Kimmel Arena in Asheville, N.C.
The Bulldogs have appeared in the Wildcard series 15 times since the series debuted for the 2013-14 season. 42 games have been played on ESPNU between Big South teams and the home team has been victorious in 29 of those contests.
The matchup between the Bulldogs and Panthers on February 2 will be the second of the season. Asheville came away with a 76-72 win at High Point in early January.
