Men’s Basketball releases its 2022-23 non-conference schedule

FULL 2022-23 UNC ASHEVILLE MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

ASHEVILLE, N.C. –
The UNC Asheville men's basketball team announced its 2022-23 non-conference schedule on Thursday. Asheville will play a total of 13 non-league games this season with four of those scheduled to be played at Kimmel Arena. Some other highlights for Asheville's non-Big South slate include trips to UCF, Dayton, Arkansas, and a multi-team event in Atlanta.

The Bulldogs will tip-off the 2022-23 season on November 7 when they travel to take on UCF in Orlando. Following its trip to the Sunshine State, Asheville will host Brevard for its home opener on November 12 at Kimmel Arena. 

Next up for Asheville will be the multi-team event hosted by Georgia State called the Capitol Classic on November 18-20. The Bulldogs will face off against Texas A&M Commerce, Eastern Kentucky, and finally Georgia State during their three-day stay in Atlanta. 

Upon its return home, three of Asheville's next four games will be played in front of its home fans. The Bulldogs host rival Western Carolina on November 26, UT-Martin on December 3, and Warren Wilson on December 7. In between those contests, Asheville will have a road game against North Carolina Central on November 29. 

Asheville will close out its non-conference slate with four road games before the holidays in four different states. The Bulldogs will travel to Dayton (December 10), South Carolina State (December 13), East Tennessee State (December 17), and Arkansas (December 21).
