ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team hosted Kennesaw State on Tuesday afternoon, being edged out by a score of 4-3.
The 4-3 loss is just the third of the season for Asheville (7-3) and second by a margin of just one point. The Bulldogs have some time off, returning to the court next Thursday when they visit North Carolina A&T for a conference match.
The Owls, who were coming off an impressive victory over Furman, took care of business 6-1 at the No. 2 doubles flight, winning flight No. 1 with a bit more of a battle (6-3).
