Women's Tennis stays hot after 7-0 win against Limestone

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Women's Tennis collected their third 7-0 victory of the year over Limestone University on Sunday afternoon in Asheville.
The junior duo of Rosie Dickson and Ami Grace Dougah continued their doubles perfection at the No. 1 position, collecting a 6-0 victory.
After playing as the No. 3 team on Saturday, Linge Steenkamp and Ari Siegel secured a 6-1 victory a spot above at No. 2, while Taylor Love and Lize Alet Morkel handled their match 6-1 at No. 3.
In singles action, Dougah (No.1) and Steenkamp (No.3) both moved to 4-0 on the season, each with straight-set wins of 6-0, 6-1, and 6-0, 6-2.
Dickson (No. 4) and Siegel (No. 6) each made their season debuts in singles play, with both also securing straight-set wins of 6-2, 6-2, and 6-1, 6-1.
Morkel (No. 2) continued her stellar singles play, earning a 6-1, 6-1 victory, and Love (No. 5) scored a hard fought 5-7, 6-4, 10-2 win.
The Bulldogs compete at home for the next two weeks, hosting Davidson College next Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
