Women’s soccer travels to Charleston Southern Wednesday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – After prevailing in double overtime at USC Upstate on Saturday, the UNC Asheville women's soccer will cap off its three-game road swing on Wednesday afternoon, traveling to Charleston Southern for a 3:00 p.m. kickoff.
A Look at the Bulldogs
Asheville sits at 1-5 overall on the season, grabbing its first win at Upstate on Sunday, defeating the Spartans 2-1 in double overtime courtesy of a Gillian Oyos goal. After going down 1-0, Courtney McCluskey took a Maya Gutman pass and evened the game in the 44th as Oyos produced the game-winner with just over a minute to play. The three goal scorers of Madison Carter, McCluskey and Oyos have combined for 26 shots and 13 shots on goal, with Oyos' six leading the way. In net, Bronwyn Luitweiler has handled the majority of the minutes, totaling 23 saves in five games.
Scouting Charleston Southern
The Buccaneers have scored just two goals on the season, allowing eight. Bri Robinson has scored both goals for Charleston Southern, while Jenna Moran has played every minute in net, totaling 25 saves and a save percentage of .758.
